This wine offers a fascinating exploration into the world of orange wines. What makes it special is its distinctive winemaking: after destemming, the whole grapes are macerated for two months with regular pigeage (punching down the cap) to extract more flavors and aromas, also tannins and color from the skins. This is followed by 8 months of aging, where a slight oxidation contributes to its natural orange color. This wine is vinified naturally, without added sulfites.
It presents a dull orange hue. On the nose, it offers intriguing notes of fresh almonds, mango, candied mandarins, quince paste, and spices, sometimes with subtle oxidative hints due to its aging process. The palate is round and powerful, leading to a very pleasant finish of exotic fruits.
