A playful and distinctive wine whose name itself ("Lubie" meaning a whim or a fancy) hints at its unique character and the creative freedom of the winemakers. This wine represents a departure from traditional blends, with the specific grape composition varying depending on the vintage and the winemaker's "whim" for that year. The winemaking aims to capture the purest expression and natural character of the fruits from clay-schist and clay-limestone soils in the Maury terroir and the Agly Valley. Matured for 6 months in Inox retaining freshness. No added Sulphites.
It presents a deep red colour with violet reflects, bursting fresh and intense fruit aromas. The palate is lively and fruit-forward, with a refreshing acidity and supple tannins which delivers a clean, pure finish. A very dynamic and youthful wine.
